Ingredients
1/4 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt (food-grade, finely ground or crystals)
16 ounces filtered or spring water (room temperature)
Optional: juice of 1/2 lemon
Optional: 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
Optional: dash of cayenne pepper
Instructions
Fill a glass jar or tumbler with 16 ounces of filtered water.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt.
Stir gently with a wooden or non-metallic spoon until the salt dissolves completely.
Optionally, add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, or cayenne pepper for extra benefits and flavor.
Drink the pink salt solution first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Notes
Start with the basic recipe before adding variations. Always use food-grade pink salt and avoid overconsumption. If you prefer a sole water concentrate, fill a glass jar one-third with pink salt, top with water, let sit overnight, and use 1 teaspoon of the saturated solution per 16-ounce glass of water.
