Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte

A layered, refreshing drink that blends sweet strawberry milk with creamy plant-based milk and vibrant ceremonial-grade matcha—perfect for sunny days or relaxing breaks.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries (sliced) or 2 tbsp strawberry jam

  • 12 teaspoons sugar or honey (optional)

  • ½ cup milk of choice (oat, almond, dairy)

  • 12 teaspoons matcha powder (ceremonial grade preferred)

  • 23 tablespoons hot water

  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  • In a saucepan or blender, mash or blend strawberries with optional sweetener until smooth. Strain if desired. Pour into the bottom of your glass.

  • Fill the glass with ice, then slowly pour in your cold milk to form a middle layer.

  • Whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy using a bamboo whisk or frother.

  • Gently pour whisked matcha over the back of a spoon onto the milk layer to form the top layer.

Notes

For best layering, use a clear glass and pour each component slowly over the back of a spoon. Adjust sweetness to taste.
